Research Project Title: Multi-scale modelling of mechanical loading and inflammation in osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common chronic disorder with complex pathogenesis, and it is indispensable for anticipation of OA onset or development to elucidate inflammatory molecular pathways that also interact with physiological loadings. This research project aims to develop a computational approach combining key factors (mechanical loading and inflammation) of OA by coupling different scales.
