University of Sheffield’s Class of '24 Mechanical Engineering Students Celebrate Graduation

Mechanical Engineering proudly celebrated the achievements of our Class of '24 at a graduation reception in our Engineering Heartspace

The event was filled with pride and joy as we honoured the dedication and hard work of our graduates, who have excelled both academically and personally during their time with us here in Sheffield.

Dr Jem Rongong reflected on the remarkable journey of our students, highlighting how graduation marks the culmination of years of hard work and study. He presented several awards and certificates, recognising the outstanding contributions of our graduates across various fields.

Rayan Bouzetit - Hector Aitkin Wainwright Prize
Tobias Brewin - Daniel Doncaster Prize in Engineering Materials and Design
William Hird - The Chris Wilson Prize for Technical Communication
Conrad Stack - The PWI Railway Award
Jacob Bates - Marjorie Malik Award for Mechanical Engineering, Communication & Outreach
Ben Suitters - Richard Pover Outstanding Contribution Award
Matthew Thompson - Richard Pover Industrial Placement Prize
