About our work

Our research interests and strengths lie in understanding and studying how data, Artificial Intelligence solutions and society interact with and influence one another. The cluster research interests align with (i) the use and application of AI; (ii) the development and creation of novel AI solutions, applied within specific application contexts; (iii) the impact of AI in shaping and being shaped by society.

Members of the AI research cluster are PhD researchers, postdoctoral researchers and academics investigating one or more of these broad areas.

Our activities

Peer-Learning and Sharing

We organise research presentations, lightning talks and technical demonstrations/masterclasses to share knowledge within and beyond the cluster.

Establishing Collaborations and Brainstorming

We develop research ideas for collaborative projects and papers through workshops.

Practical Implementation

We organise technical and methodological workshops for hands-on learning and implementation of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning solutions.
