Ruth Manderson

Ruth is responsible for: 

• Primary Point of Contact: Acts as the school lead for disability, wellbeing, and inclusion, coordinating with Faculty and University services.
• Disability Liaison: Leads the implementation of Learning Support Plans and advises academic staff on making reasonable adjustments.
• Inclusive Practice: Works with the Director of Education to embed proactive, inclusive teaching and support methods.
• Progression Management: Effectively manages Extenuating Circumstances and attendance monitoring processes to identify and assist "at-risk" students.
• Welfare & Referrals: Manages complex student referrals to specialist services and supervises team delivery.
• Compliance & Strategy: Ensures all activities align with legislative requirements and the institution’s Access and Participation Plan.
