Ms Jenny Eells (she/her)

I am award-winning journalist and podcaster who has been working in broadcasting since 2007.

I started my career in commercial radio as a newsreader and reporter for the Bauer network in the North East. I joined the BBC in 2010 and was a reporter for local stations across Yorkshire for the next twelve years. During this time, I ran a BBC community outreach project in Bradford teaching digital media skills, collaborating with Radio 1Xtra, Bradford City of Film and the Yorkshire Film Archive.

I've also worked as a researcher for BBC Look North and was the co presenter and producer of The Naked Podcast on BBC Sounds. 

After leaving the BBC, I moved into teaching broadcast journalism, joining the team at The University of Sheffield four years ago from The University of Leeds.
