Academic clinical fellowships in paediatrics
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to concentrate on Research in Children and Young People at The University of Sheffield.
Research
The School of Medicine and Population Health combines strong basic and clinical science groups to create a major focus on translational research. The research should be aligned with the active research themes and will be based at Sheffield Children’s Hospital or one of Divisions of the School.
There are also opportunities to explore collaborative projects in high-quality research as part of the South Yorkshire Children and Young People's Health Research network.
The research project will be undertaken under the supervision of a Clinical Academic, Academic (basic scientist) or a consultant with an honorary academic contract. You will require at least one supervisor with a substantive contract with the University of Sheffield. Applicants are encouraged to explore the opportunity of multidisciplinary supervisor teams.
Training
The clinical training in Paediatrics will follow the rotation in the South Yorkshire deanery.
