Description
The Big Walk is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a powerful community effort to protect the futures of children with lung disease. Taking place on Friday 3 July 2026, this year's walk invites you to tackle a 20 or 30 mile route through the breathtaking Peak District. Registration has now closed for the Big Walk 2026. If you want to take part, please email the Big Walk team as soon as possible at giving@sheffield.ac.uk. We’re still looking for volunteers to help support the event. A variety of roles are available—If you're interested in joining us, please sign up below.

What you'll get:
- Entry to your chosen route on Friday 3 July 2026, including route cards and briefing notes in the run up to the event and support on the day
- Coach transportation to the start line from The Octagon building
- Your Big Walk 2026 fundraising t-shirt to wear proudly on the day
- Lunch at the midway point and our legendary Big Walk flapjack
- A well-deserved hot meal, medal and celebratory drink at the finish line
