Rishi shares his favourite parts of his MEng Electrical and Electronic degree so far.

I have always been passionate about electronics having been enthused at a young age with technology. An Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree allows me to learn the skills and knowledge required to become an engineer and learn how to innovate for the future.

During my time studying I have found that Programming, Engineering Software Design and Digital Systems Engineering have piqued my interest highly because I have had three years of experience with Python, and (since starting my university course) C, MATLAB and Simulink. It is a skill that develops logical and analytical problem solving.

Sheffield is huge yet so personal; the city breathes life with its diversity and night life, yet it doesn't lose touch with it beautiful natural surrounding (i.e. The Peak District). It's widely spread out so its not too intimidating either.

Upon graduation I will work towards gaining chartered status within an engineering firm.
