Profile

I received the 5-year Diploma (BEng & MEng) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2015, specialising in electrical power systems, electromechanical energy conversion, and electrical machines. I received the MSc degree in complex systems and network theory from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Mathematics, in 2017, and the PhD degree in condition monitoring and fault diagnostics of electrical machines from Coventry University, UK, in 2020.

In February 2021, I joined the Electronic & Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Sheffield as a post-doctoral research associate in electrical machines at the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre in Advanced Electrical Machines.

Since January 2022, I have been a lecturer in electrical machines with the EMD group of the EEE Department of the University of Sheffield.

My current research interests include condition monitoring, fault finding and diagnostics of electrical machines, digital signal processing for diagnostic purposes, as well as new technologies for the inspection, testing, and repair of electrical machines.
