Where your degree can take you

An education degree allows you to progress into a range of education sector career paths, social work, or moving towards educational psychology.

Degree with a placement year

Completing a 'Degree with Placement Year' degree allows you to apply for a placement year during your degree, and helps you gain valuable employment experience.

Social sciences students have access to an employability hub based in Cornerstone in the Wave, which offers bespoke employability support.

The hub team can help you to explore career options, build experience and skills, and it organises events that are tailored to social sciences subjects.
