Where your degree can take you
An education degree allows you to progress into further specialised education, most commonly in initial teacher education, social work, or moving towards educational psychology.
You can move into other graduate professions working with children and young people.
You can also progress to postgraduate or PhD study.
Degree with a placement year
Completing a 'Degree with Placement Year' degree allows you to apply for a placement year during your degree, and helps you gain valuable employment experience.
Careers and Employability Service
While studying your course, you have access to a broad range of resources through the Careers and Employability Service.
This delivers a range of practical activities to help you develop your CV while at University and prepare for what happens after you finish your course.
