We are happy to announce that UK Speech 2023, the annual meeting of the UK and Irish Speech Technology Research Communities, will be hosted by the University of Sheffield on the 14th and 15th of June 2023.

The UK Speech workshop aims to bring together researchers in the UK and Ireland Speech Science and Technology communities, both in academia and industry, to share information about ongoing research activities, meet old friends and make new ones. The conference is organised by the Speech and Hearing Research Group (SpandH) in the Department of Computer Science, with collaboration from the UK Speech Community.

This year, UK Speech is immediately preceded by the Annual Conference 2023 of the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Speech and Language Technologies (SLT) and their Applications (12-13 June).
