Dr Aryan Pasikhani is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Cybersecurity in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield and a member of the Security of Advanced Systems research group. He obtained his PhD from the University of Sheffield and previously served as an Academic Fellow in Cybersecurity.
His research focuses on AI security, offensive AI, adversarial machine learning, reinforcement learning, privacy-preserving machine learning, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and the security, privacy, and transparency of AI/ML systems.
Alongside his academic work, Dr Pasikhani is the founder of CybPass, a University of Sheffield spin-out company that provides autonomous, expert-in-the-loop security testing and compliance assurance for AI systems across the AI lifecycle.
