Financialisation, regulation and asset management in English housing associations
Supervised by Stephen Hincks and Ryan Powell
My research aims to understand how changes in the funding and regulatory framework for social housing are affecting the asset management strategies of English housing associations, and the consequences for housing needs. It is a mixed-methods study, combining longitudinal regression and quantitative text analysis with qualitative interviews with housing association staff and stakeholders.
I have completed a BSc in Social Policy with Government from the London School of Economics, and an MA in Social Research from the University of Sheffield. Between my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees I worked in a housing association, where I completed training in data science using R, market research and SQL.
