New Political Economy
New Political Economy, a leading international journal was founded at the University of Sheffield in March 1996.
It provides a forum for work which combines the breadth of vision characterised in the classical political economy of the nineteenth century with the analytical advances of twentieth and twenty-first century social science.
SPERI Director Professor Colin Hay is Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
Professors Andrew Baker and Andrew Hindmoor (SPERI, University of Sheffield) are members of the Editorial Board, as are Professor Tony Heron (University of York), Dr Valbona Muzaka (King’s College, London), and Dr Adrienne Roberts and Professor John O’Neill (University of Manchester).
Although organisationally separate from SPERI, New Political Economy remains very much a part of the same intellectual project.
