I joined ScHARR in September 2022 after earning an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York in 2020.
During my academic period, my MPH thesis focused on studying the factors influencing health technology assessment and reimbursement decisions. Additionally, I completed an MSc thesis analyzing the quality of life benefits associated with the introduction of immuno-oncology agents in the NICE Technology Appraisal in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb.
My prior research has focused on health equity and economic evaluation. I have contributed to the field by publishing an assessment and comparison of income-related inequality across regions, as well as a systematic review and quality assessment of health economic evaluation studies. These studies have provided insight into the evaluation of healthcare interventions and the importance of considering equity in healthcare policy.

My current PhD research is focused on exploring how equity considerations can be effectively incorporated into the economic evaluation of health interventions.
By examining the various approaches and frameworks used to address equity in economic evaluations, my research aims to identify best practices that can improve decision-making and promote equitable health outcomes.
I am excited about the potential implications of my research and am committed to contributing to the development of more effective and equitable health policies.
