Schunk SDH 3-Finger Gripper
Off
The Schunk robot hand is a three-fingered robot capable of gripping and handling a wide array of objects. It can be attached to other equipment such as the Kuka LBR (pictured) for different scenarios. The hand performs pressure detection and surface recognition using tactile matrices to accurately determine whether an object has been gripped.
The robot gripper has 7 degrees of freedom (2 DOF for each finger) and a weight of 1.95kg. The length of the hand is 248.8mm, and each finger has its own maximum admissible length of 155mm. It also contains CAN bus, RS232 and Ethernet ports, making the hand easy to control from computers.
