They specialise in the development of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) that measure the health and/or quality of life of people for particular conditions or populations, and valuation or analysis of existing measures to enable them to be used to generate QALYs (quality-adjusted life years) to inform health technology assessment.
Researchers from ScHARR Outcomes work on projects funded from a wide range of sources including research councils, government departments, charities, consultancy firms and pharmaceutical companies.
