Professor Nicola Dibben elected 2026 British Academy Fellow

Professor Nikki Dibben has been elected as a 2026 Fellow of the British Academy, the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences.

Professor Nikki Dibben, Co-Director of Muses Mind Machine, has been elected as a 2026 Fellow of the British Academy, the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences.

Election to the Fellowship is a major honour, recognising outstanding contribution and leadership in research.

Reflecting on the appointment, Nikki said, "I am incredibly honoured to have been nominated to this fellowship by my peers. It is particularly meaningful for me because the British Academy funded my Early Career Postdoctoral Fellowship, which gave me the means and confidence to pursue an academic career."

"I look forward to contributing to their vital work supporting and communicating the value of arts, humanities, and social sciences research."
