We offer a range of physics and astronomy courses, with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as astrophysics and theoretical physics. You can also grow your experience and connections by opting to complete a year-long work placement or study abroad as part of your degree.

All of our physics courses offer the option of a one-year industrial work placement, which you can opt to do after you start your degree.

On all our physics and astrophysics courses, you can apply to spend a year studying abroad once you arrive in Sheffield.

International undergraduate scholarships

We are offering scholarships of £2,500 for each year (subject to a 60% average) of your undergraduate degree. The maximum value is £10,000 for four-year programmes.
