Mathematical and Statistical Modelling (MaSM) is a diverse research cluster, consisting of researchers from a wide range of broadly outward-facing disciplines, from statistics to mathematical biology, probability to environmental dynamics. These are unified by a focus on applications to a range of empirical sciences (e.g. biology, medicine, engineering, archeology), as well as development of mathematical and statistical tools for making such applications successful.
