Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the welfare and wellbeing of students
• Act as main point of contact for students in relation to welfare issues, including leave of absence or withdrawal and extenuating circumstances
• Provide support and specialist advice to Senior Tutors and Disability Liaison Officers
• Manage student engagement monitoring
• Provide administrative support to Special Circumstances meetings
• Promote welfare and support issues to students to encourage students to access support
• Provide guidance to staff on the services available to students
• Responsible for disseminating Learning Support Plans and liaising with staff to ensure appropriate support is put in place for students
• Maintain web pages related to student wellbeing and welfare
• Maintain systems and databases to support student welfare activities
