As the Employability Officer at the Management School, my main role is supporting students taking part in a Company Project or a SUMS Business Project. I am here to provide help and guidance throughout your project journey.

Company Projects offer an alternative to a traditional dissertation. It involves working directly with an organisation to solve a particular issue or challenge that they have identified. Your work will be presented to the organisation in the form of a written report and will form the basis of your dissertation project. Most (but not all) Management School masters students can take part. You can check with your Programme Director if you are eligible. As this is a competitive process you are required to take part in an application process which includes attending skill sessions, submitting a successful application, passing a final interview with Management School staff and passing all semester one modules (achieving a mark of 60 or above).
