Programme Director for MSc Cultural and Creative Industries Management (CCIM)
As Programme Director for Cultural and Creative Industries Management (CCIM), I am delighted to welcome you to Sheffield University Management School. The MSc CCIM programme is taught across several faculties and departments at the University of Sheffield. Core modules include Introduction to Critical Theories and Concepts in the Creative and Cultural Industries; Cultural Marketing; and Research Methods. You can further choose among a variety of optional modules, for example Digital CCI; Managing Museums and Cultural Heritage Sites; Heritage, Place and Community; Strategic Planning for Music Business Clients; Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship; and Accounting and Financial Management, among others. The programme consists of lectures introducing you to key theories and frameworks across CCI areas; stimulating, hands-on tutorials taught in small groups; field trips to cultural heritage sites in Sheffield and the wider Yorkshire region; and conversations with CCI experts and professionals in the field. In addition, the Management School offers a great range of professional training activities aimed at enhancing your professional profile (MySkills).
