This degree is equipping me with essential skills in consumer behaviour, market analysis, and brand positioning that will be invaluable in building compelling brand narratives
During my undergraduate degree, I developed a strong interest in branding. I wanted to continue exploring this field while finding a balance between branding (particularly the design side) and marketing. After researching my options, Sheffield's Strategic Marketing & Branding programme was the best choice for me to continue my studies.
Course highlights
I've particularly enjoyed the opportunity to read a wide range of commercial reports from different industries and organisations of varying sizes. This has given me valuable insight into how different sectors operate and has helped me understand the commercial market much more deeply.
Skills development
Throughout my course, I've developed strong skills in writing business reports and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data. I've learnt to evaluate information critically, identify key insights, and present findings clearly. These experiences have significantly enhanced my critical thinking and analytical abilities.
Future goals
I'm currently exploring opportunities in the marketing and branding sector, where I hope to combine strategic thinking with creative communication. This degree is equipping me with essential skills in consumer behaviour, market analysis, and brand positioning that will be invaluable in building compelling brand narratives. The hands-on projects and real-world case studies are helping me develop both the analytical and creative mindset needed to thrive in this field.
Sheffield highlights
I absolutely love the Western Bank Library. It offers an incredible study environment with stunning views of the park outside, which makes it so peaceful and inspiring. The atmosphere there is perfect for focused work, and I find myself returning again and again. It's definitely one of my favourite spots on campus.
