Profile

Rachael completed a BSc in Psychology (2013) with the Open University followed by a research Masters (MRes) degree in Social Science Research Methods at the University of East Anglia, specialising in qualitative research methods in social psychology. Her Master’s thesis focussed on the parental dynamics in same-sex stepfamilies. Rachael is now a fourth year, part time student studying for a Doctorate with Sheffield University Management School and is investigating perceived barriers to promotion opportunities for people living with sight loss, through a Bourdieusian lens.
