My research interests lie in changing how electric freight trucks are recharged to improve logistical, economic, and environmental sustainability. My research focuses on electric vans (E-vans) serving the "last mile" of delivery, using battery swapping to rapidly recharge vehicles. Specific research objectives include configuration decisions within battery swap stations, designing pricing strategies for charging and swapping models, and the lifecycle of battery swap stations. This research integrates operational management, electrical engineering, and economic accounting. By integrating operation management theory and design with real-world simulations, I aim to provide optimised solutions for sustainable and economical logistics.
