Thesis title

My thesis title is: Workforce Reconfiguration in Residential Care: Opportunities, Risks and Future Directions

About the researcher

I am a full-time doctoral researcher within the Organisation Studies cluster at the Management School, University of Sheffield. My research explores workforce reconfiguration in residential care homes in England, with a particular focus on how corporate ideologies influence staffing transitions and shape the lived experiences of migrant care workers. Using a qualitative, participatory organisational research approach, I examine how care work is organised, managed, and experienced across nursing and non-nursing settings to inform sustainable workforce strategies and improve the quality of care.
