Sheffield University Management School is pleased to announce that the Sheffield MBA has kept its position in Tier One in CEO Magazine’s 2025 Global MBA Rankings.
CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business and management schools from around the globe since it launched in 2008, with the Global MBA Rankings being launched in 2012. Participation in the rankings this year has increased by 10%, with the rankings including 153 schools, offering 309 different MBA programmes in 24 countries.
Professor Fraser McLeay, Dean of the Management School, said, “Through the Sheffield MBA, students are empowered with the skills, tools, insights and networks required for their ongoing personal, professional and career development, leading to a successful path forward. We carefully select a diverse cohort to ensure a bespoke and interactive learning experience. Applications are still open for this prestigious programme, with scholarships available worth up to 50% of the tuition fees. We strongly encourage individuals to apply as soon as possible to secure their place on the programme.”
The Sheffield MBA, which boasts Triple Crown accreditation from AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS in addition to accreditation from CMI and CIMA, is structured around the core pillars of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Consultancy. The programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to lead, create innovations and influence others.
Dr Sabrina Thornton, MBA Programme Director, said, “We are incredibly proud that the Sheffield MBA has been recognised by CEO Magazine as it continues to give students the opportunity to experience the remarkable acceleration, transformation and innovation in their self-development that drives their ambitious career progression. Learning alongside a diverse cohort of talented professionals, the Sheffield MBA is equipped with dedicated career development support that helps our students in realising their career ambitions from throughout the programme, and beyond. The programme is guided by our world-leading academics who are experts in their fields and passionate about the transformative impact of their teaching and research. We continue to work hard to ensure that, throughout the programme, students engage with a diverse range of local and international organisations, and that they have the flexibility to tailor their learning, gaining the skills and experiences they need to realise their full potential.”
CEO Magazine uses a ranking system which is weighted towards fact-based criteria. They aim to provide prospective students with a performance benchmark for MBA programmes around the world. The rankings take into consideration:
- Quality of Faculty
- International Diversity
- Class Size
- Accreditation
- Faculty to Student Ratio
- Price
- International Exposure
- Work Experience
- Professional Development
- Gender Parity
- Delivery methods
Schools are ranked as Tier One or Tier Two based on their overall percentage score from these data points.
