  We're excited to welcome you to the Management School on 22 September for your Flying Start Welcome Week! This crucial first week of studies sets the foundations for your journey and requires your attendance to ensure your MBA success.
We have designed and prepared a week that is full of essential information about your studies and skill development sessions to help you hit the ground running, with plenty of time to network with your fellow MBA students and the MBA team.
You'll find full details of your timetabled activities in iSheffield, which you can download via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or access via a web browser.

- Monday 23 September
- All activities will be based in the Middleton Lecture Theatre in the Management School. - Time - Activity - 9am - 10am - Formal welcome to The Sheffield MBA with the MBA Programme Director - Programme overview - get to know all the essentials about your studies - 10am - 10.30am - Break - 10.30am - 12 noon - Personal, Professional and Career Development - Dr Laura Dean (PPCD Module Leader) - 12 noon - 1pm - Welcome lunch - 1pm - 2.30pm - The UK context - challenges, industries and economies - 2.30pm - 3pm - Break 
- Tuesday 24 September
- All activities will be based in the Middleton Lecture Theatre in the Management School. - Time - Activity - 9am to 12 noon - Reflective Thinking Skill Development with Dr Stephen Allen (Lecturer in Organisation Studies, Sheffield University Management School) - 12 noon to 1pm - Lunch and networking - 1pm to 2.30pm - Your skills and values - the skill audit with Marian Derbyshire (Careers and Employability Consultant, Sheffield University Management School) - 2.30pm - 3pm - Break - 3pm - 4pm - An introduction to the Mannheim international study trip with Professor Paul McGuinness (Chair in Accounting and Finance, Sheffield University Management School)
