- Profile
-
I am currently undertaking a PhD in Law at the University of Sheffield. My research focuses on the principle of equity in international law and examines how fragmentation between international climate law and intellectual property law affects the operationalisation of technology transfer obligations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Paris Agreement, and the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights. Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Sheffield, where I explored how the international intellectual property system can support access to climate technologies.
Alongside my academic work, I am a qualified attorney and a member of the Iran Central Bar Association, with professional experience in intellectual property and the green technology sector. I have also lectured at Danesh Alborz University and served as an arbitrator at the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition, held under the auspices of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
