I have taught Japanese in the secondary education sector since 2005. As part of this role, I have delivered cultural sessions and organised residential school trips to Japan. I joined the University of Sheffield in 2021. I have a particular interest in teaching communication skills in cross-cultural environments.
I am also interested in translation, particularly audio-visual translation. I have conducted research on humour translation in British comedies.
