Profile
From a young age, I studied music theory, piano, and vocal performance, often participating in performances and gaining recognition for my talent. In secondary school, influenced by Western and Japanese pop music, I played in bands. My passion for music led me to pursue an undergraduate degree, where I explored various music courses and humanities subjects, deepening my interest in the field.  Recognizing the novelty of my research, I chose to study abroad in Japan for my master’s degree. There, I shifted my focus from music theory to cultural anthropology by taking courses in philosophy, psychology, and sociology. My MA thesis examined the impact of Japanese pop music on Hong Kong and Taiwan. And During my doctoral studies, I will conduct further research on this subject.
