Description
This module is focusing on interactive activities in Korean language at lower intermediate level. Every week students are made aware of and given the opportunity to practise spoken applications of specific themes, which is shared with the grammar and writing components. Students develop skills needed to make best use of the Year Abroad programme.
Learning outcomes
- Communicate in colloquial Korean.
- Use an appropriate intonation, pause and emphasis effectively in their speech, talk and conversation, and comprehend these in communication.
- Use polite and colloquial Korean appropriately in conversation according to the situation.
- Explain and describe something objectively.
- Obtain information accurately.
- Give a short speech in Korean.

- Presentation (30%)
- Speaking Test (70%)
