Description
This module is focusing on oral and aural activities in Chinese language at at the post-beginning to lower-intermediate level. Every week students are made aware of and given the opportunity to practise spoken applications of specific themes, which is shared with the grammar and writing components.
Learning outcomes
- Speak using more complex forms of grammar and expression.
- Give a 5 minute individual presentation in Chinese.
- Comprehend and obtain key information from presentation given by someone.
- Understand enough to follow extended speech on abstract and complex topics.
Assessment
- Speaking Test (50%)
- Listening Test (40%)
- Listening Coursework (10%)
