The Sheffield Sustainable Transport Network is a strategic initiative aiming to bridge the combined interdisciplinary academic expertise of local institutions with regional and national policy objectives in sustainable mobility.

Established by South Yorkshire Sustainability Centre and the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, the network facilitates collaboration between regional academic institutions and supports collaborative bids for research funding and partnerships.

Through the network, we map academic specialisms and research interests across The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, alongside leverageable partnerships across industry and local authorities, ensuring alignment with policy and scoping opportunities.
