Funding Opportunities

The Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures is pleased to announce a new opportunity for researchers and regional partners to kick start research, deliver impact and create practical solutions to complex problems.

There are two funds running in parallel designed to support research in two strands.

Grantham Amplification Fund

Grantham Amplification Fund aims to develop research, knowledge exchange and potential start-up projects that have a strong cross-disciplinary sustainability focus and propose practical solutions to complex problems. Our expectation is that a successful conclusion will lead to a much larger 3rd party funding, or a significant real world impact amplifying the effect of the donation from the Grantham Foundation in building a sustainable future.

Regional Readiness Fund

The Regional Readiness Fund aims to deliver impactful demonstrator projects that respond to sustainability challenges within the South Yorkshire Region. This fund is being delivered in partnership with the South Yorkshire Sustainability Centre (SYSC)
