Profile

Zoë manages the UK LCA Network, a multi-partner, Innovate UK-funded, regulatory science and innovation network, based at the University of Sheffield. The network - which is led by Grantham Centre Co-Director, Professor Rachael Rothman - focuses on improving transparency and harmonisation in the field of life cycle assessment (LCA), in order to support evidence-based industrial enablement and sustainability policymaking.

Zoë is responsible for project management of the network, including its research activities. Since its establishment in 2025, the network has produced 14 original, policy-focused research outputs, and is currently operating 4 work packages and 8 working groups, after securing its second round of Innovate UK funding.

Zoë also provides event management for the network; organising and hosting annual conferences and showcase events, including parliamentary receptions and research dissemination events, as well as high-level multi-stakeholder roundtables.

Alongside her work on the network, Zoë is also the Deputy Chair of the Disability Staff Network and advocates for the needs of disabled staff, influencing the University’s Disability and Equality Strategy & Action Plan.
