The Marion Wiles Field Class Scholarship

We're pleased to announce a new scholarship in memory of Marion Wiles.

The Marion Wiles field class scholarship will be available to students on the following masters courses:

There will be 12 scholarships per year for five years, each up to £3,000, to support students choosing to undertake a field class as part of their masters degree.

When available, all scholarship applications will be reviewed by a school panel.

We are very pleased to be able to offer this scholarship, which makes our field classes more accessible for students from lower income backgrounds.

Given Marion’s love of geography, dedication to teaching, and particular emphasis on running field classes for students, we feel that this is a fitting tribute to her which will directly benefit students in a way she would have appreciated.
