Travel information

Train and tram

Two Sheffield supertrams

The easiest way to reach us from the city centre is by tram. We are located roughly a five to ten minutes walk away from the 'Shalesmoor' tram stop, which is two stops away from 'The University of Sheffield' tram stop.

Trams go directly to:

  • The city centre (blue and yellow tram)
  • Sheffield train station (blue tram)
  • Meadowhall shopping centre (yellow tram)
  • Hillsborough (blue and yellow tram).

Walking

The ELTC is 15 minutes walk from the University of Sheffield (near tram stop or Information Commons).

Cycling

Cycle racks are available in the cycle store in 3 Solly Street NCP.

Bus

Several bus services stop near the ELTC. You can use the Travel South Yorkshire website to plan your journey by bus or to search for a timetable.

Car

There is limited street parking on Solly Street, as well as car parking at NCP Sheffield Solly Street, Q-Park Solly Steet and Pennine Five Car Park. 

Sheffield also has a Park and Ride scheme.
