Ideas Space
The workshop will bring together TUoS academic researchers and industry professionals to explore how cutting-edge digital tools—such as automation, machine learning, and advanced process analytical technology (PAT)—are reshaping the future of chemical manufacturing. From a materials agnostic perspective, we intend to explore how we can be ready to respond to industrial and societal needs in chemical, materials and Biological engineering.
We will showcase ongoing work in the school in key areas, gain views from industry and share knowledge. Our aim is to identify the real challenges and opportunities in the field with a view to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange which will lead to large funding bids.
There will be space to bring posters, so I encourage you to do so to showcase your work to the department – this will be particularly useful for early career researchers. If you intend to do this, please indicate it on this form.
