Dr Rawana Yagan

I completed my PhD at Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey in 2023. I worked in micromagnetic simulation of magnetic waveguides (magnonic crystals) and skyrmion-based logic devices. I have experience in magnetic thin film growth and characterization. I joined the magnetic functional materials group at the university of Sheffield with Professor Tom Hayward at the school of CMBE. My work here focuses on utilizing magnetic materials such as permalloy in reservoir computing and machine learning tasks.
