University Carol Service
Event details
Description
You are warmly invited to the University Carol Service, Tuesday 16th December, 1.10pm-2pm.
This festive occasion in Firth Hall (postcode S10 2TN) is always special, including singing by the University Chamber Choir.
Open to students, staff and friends of the university, the service fits neatly into an hour-long lunch break.
Afterwards you are welcome at the BNBR Life Centre (205 Brook Hill, S3 7HG) for free mince pies and hot drinks.
The Carol Service is an ecumenical one organised by the BNBR Life Centre's Christian Chaplaincy for the university.
As well as featuring the Chamber Choir, students and staff will help with readings and prayers.
The address will be given by the university’s new Anglican Chaplain, Revd Dr Sue Leather.
This year’s chosen charity to support is Sheffield Young Carers.
