The core underlying ethos running through all of my research is a drive to solve global challenges. I use quantitative and qualitative approaches to characterise complex systems, profiling ecology and evolutionary dynamics. I am currently focussed on two main themes:
- Describing biodiversity change and its drivers, and identifying pathways towards biodiversity protection and recovery, all whilst balancing the needs of people and society.
- Predicting rates of antimicrobial resistance at a global scale
- Professional activities and memberships
-
- Steering Commitee member in the European Chapter of Ecological Forecasting Intiative (2024 - Present)
