Monika has been a teaching associate in the Department of Sociological Studies since October 2022. Before starting her current role, she held a variety of research positions at the UoS including two large-scale projects: Patterns in Practice (AHRC-funded) and Living with Data (Nuffield-funded).
Monika's PhD research explored emotional responses and (potential) democratic participation through data visualisation about climate change in two different national contexts.
She has been an Associate Fellow of the HEA since 2021 and completed the Aurora Women in Higher Education Leadership Programme in 2023.
