I cannot recommend completing a placement year enough. The skills I have developed over the last 12 months have been invaluable and I have met so many new, interesting people and connections.

What support is available for getting a placement year?

  • Students can drop-in to Cornerstone Employability and Placements Hub from 10AM-3PM Weekdays 
  • Visit the weekly placement drop-in Tuesdays 11am-1pm in Cornerstone 
  • To enquire about booking a 1:1 placement year appointment with a member of the team please email cornerstoneemployabilityhub@sheffield.ac.uk
