The Cornerstone is a peer-to-peer Employability and Placement Hub situated in the Faculty of Social Science.
How can Cornerstone Employability and Placement Hub help?
Cornerstone is open for student drop-ins from 10AM-3PM Weekdays and can help you through questions relating to Employability, such as how to find placement years and write good applications.

You'll also see lots of employer events and skills workshops taking place in Cornerstone. Cornerstone facilitates access to the best Employability advice and opportunities, so whether you are considering your options, looking for work experience or applying for graduate jobs the team are happy to help. You can find the Cornerstone on the ground floor of The Wave.
Students can access further support from The Careers and Employability Service.
What is employability and why should you think about it?
In a fast moving world of career and employment, we need to be able to review options, reflect on our strengths and development needs, and adapt to new opportunities.
