I am based within the Barnsley Assistive Technology Team at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as Assistive Technology Clinical Specialist. This role involves assessing adults and children with disabilities for assistive technology including communication aids, environmental controls and computer access.
I have a research element to my role within Barnsley and have held an Honorary Contract with the University of Sheffield since 2007 for work on projects within the Rehabilitation and Technology Group.

My research interests are Assistive Technology, specifically research into the use and development of Communication Aids and Environmental Control Systems. In addition I have an interest in the use of Assistive Technology with people with Learning Disabilities.
