I joined HEDS in 2024 as a Research Associate, working in the field of outcome measurement.
Prior to this, I worked as an Associate Teacher in Public Health from 2020, responsible for leading the Health Promotion module and deputy lead for Key issues in Global Public Health and Health Needs Assessment, Planning, and Evaluation. I was also a Research Associate with the Health and Care Research Unit.
Previously, I worked as an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University teaching Public Health since 2013.
I am a registered nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and have worked for the NHS specialising in obesity reduction and weight management and for charity (not-for-profit) organisations in deprived areas of Sheffield.
I completed my PhD at the Medical School in the Department of Oncology and Metabolism, which focused on vitamin D supplementation and irritable bowel syndrome.

My research interests lie in improving public health, reducing health inequalities, vitamin D, and obesity.
