I first joined the University of Sheffield in 2018 when I began my PhD trying to understand the mechanism of action of a novel therapeutic compound in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. I have since undertaken a postdoctoral position in the same lab group, continuing my research into Parkinson’s disease therapeutics and their impact on the mitochondria.
