Profile

My doctoral (ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, India) and postdoctoral (University of Nottingham, UK) research ‎‎ has spanned male fertility, reproductive immunology, ‎extracellular vesicle (EV) biology, embryo development, fetal growth, and epigenetic ‎inheritance. I have developed an interdisciplinary profile that bridges molecular biology, ‎reproductive physiology, and developmental programming. ‎

Currently, in my BBSRC-funded postdoctoral position at the University of Sheffield, I ‎investigate how EVs from distinct regions of the male reproductive tract differ in molecular composition and function. This work is uncovering novel molecular pathways ‎through which paternal health exerts effects on offspring well-being.‎
I am particularly interested in how EVs mediate the transfer of environmental signals ‎from father to offspring, and how they modulate the sperm epigenome in preparation for ‎fertilisation. My long-term goal is to define the molecular mechanisms by which EVs ‎contribute to the intergenerational transmission of phenotypes, with a focus on ‎improving understanding of male-mediated developmental programming.‎
